About Us
Founded in 2007 by Spencer Ives and the owners of Blue Sky Intermodal, Premier Box is a registered Australian business with its head office located in Caloundra, Queensland.
Premier Box began as a new container supplier, distributing & selling new containers across Australia. In early 2008 the new container product range was expanded to meet customer demands, and we started to offer used containers for sale. In the same year we added another staff member and moved to the Caloundra office. In 2009 we witnessed one of the worst financial crises to ever hit the world economy. Fortunately, being a small company, we were able to adapt and change the direction of the business to ensure we survived. In fact it was during 2009 that Premier Box started its dedicated container hire fleet, giving customers the alternative of either a sale or hire container solution. Fast forward to today and the container product range we offer for sale continues to grow, the range of hire & lease agreements we offer customers continues to grow, as does the range of container products included in our dedicated hire fleet. There is no doubt that 2012 will be another challenging year, but the foundations we have laid to date will ensure the long term success of Premier Box.
Our goal is to provide an efficient, value for money, reputable alternative for customers seeking a container solution to meet their storage, cargo or site demands.
Ann-Louise Nolan – Working from our Rockhampton office, Ann-Louise is the sales & operations manager for Premier Box. Ann-Louise joined the container industry in 2005 after working in real estate for a number of years. Working for a major container wholesaler, she was responsible for new & used container sales across Australia. In 2008 she joined Premier Box to assist with the growth and development of the company. Ann-Louise now drives the day to day running of Premier Box, overseeing new & used container sales and managing our dedicated hire fleet. The knowledge that she has developed over the past six years means that when you talk to Ann-Louise about buying or hiring one of our container products, you are talking to someone who understands them, ensuring you will get the right container solution to meet your demands.
Spencer Ives – Based at the head office in Caloundra, Spencer is a company director and 50% shareholder in Premier Box. Originally from the UK, Spencer first started working in the equipment leasing and finance industry in 1993. His first role was as a customer service representative for a multinational corporation. In 1997 his then employer, an international container leasing company, moved Spencer from the UK to their Sydney office to become the Operations & Customer Service Manager for Australasia. Seeking a new challenge, in 2003 Spencer went to work in a senior sales & marketing position for one of the largest new and used container distributors in Australia. With the financial & operational support of Blue Sky Intermodal, Spencer opened the doors at Premier Box on the 1st of October 2007 and focused his efforts on selling new containers. Spencer now drives the growth and development of the company, researching new markets and working with new customers. The skills and experience that Spencer has obtained over the last 18 years ensures that when you choose Premier Box as your container solution provider, the product & service will be second to none.
Blue Sky Intermodal – UK company Blue Sky is a 50% shareholder in Premier Box. Blue Sky is an international marine container leasing company providing containers and related equipment on operating and finance leases to the container industry. Blue Sky also sells new and used containers globally for use in secondary and domestic markets. The close working relationship with Blue Sky provides Premier Box with access to new container inventory in China, used container inventory worldwide and a range of container finance agreements. But most importantly, it provides Premier Box with access to a team of people who are among the most experienced and well respected in the global container industry.
